After you successfully file your Income Tax Return (ITR), the Income Tax Department will send an ITR V (Acknowledgement) on your registered email id.
It is mandatory to e-verify your return, in order to complete the ITR filing process. Income Tax Department processes the ITR after only you e-verify your ITR.
You are required to e-verify the return within 120 days of ITR filing.
You can e-verify your return once you have e-filed your return from Quicko. Post e-filing, you have a call to option to e-verify return on Quicko. Once you click on 'e-verify', you are redirected to the IT portal where you have options to e-verify your return using Aadhar OTP, net banking, or sending a physically signed copy to Bangalore.
